"launch"

Posted by audiomatch at 05:40 PM on September 4, 2004.

We've "launched," but it's not quite done yet. We will be issuing a series of invites to those who donated in the past. However, you *can* register if you have an invite code OR if you wish to upgrade your account now... so go try to register now. More news forthcoming as we clean up the site.

datoole, the people who put this together really don't like responding to their paying customers. I am highly disappointed in the service and response from them. They seemed to be more helpful when it was a free service. I have been asking them for a direct link in the instant message profile, instead of the browser popping up. I haven't heard anything. All I can say is that I am very disappointed...

Errr; I accidentally hit post comment before I was done...

Let me say that again,

I have an audiomatch account (paid the $7 and all). I have tried email and messaging via the system and have not received any response.

Anyhow, my image comes up is a black rectangle no matter what I try to do. I have had this account since about early September and have not been able to use it properly since I set everything up. I think it's a great little tool and would love for it to work right.

My plugin is sending the data in since anything I play comes up under "recent songs" just fine, just the image never appears right.

Hi...

I have apparently an old version of AM on my system, and I'd like it completely removed. I have uninstalled it from my Plugins of WinAmp, and uninstalled Winamp, deleted the program folder... all that.

It still is sending information from my machine. On your site, you have no Technical information that can help. Can you let me know what else I need to remove to get rid of the software, and the packets it sends?

Thanks! :D

All you have to do is delete the plugin file or check the disable box.

That doesn't seem to work, unfortunately.

I've removed the Plugin, and uninstalled Winamp, as I mentioned before.... and it is still sending out packets.

Any files I should look for, to remove?

Thanks! :D

um, i think you're mistaken. the plugin is the only thing that sends data; once it's gone, it's gone. there's nothing else. my guess is you're not uninstalling the plugin properly (perhaps you have multiple copies of winamp on your computer and you're uninstalling the wrong copy).

Well,

I checked all my drives.

Only one version of Winamp.

All I am asking is for a list of files to look for. :)

Thanks.

If you're running an old version, the only file is the gen_music_poster.dll. Delete any copies of this..

I guess I'm a bit late with noticing that audiomatch is up and running again, though I think I donated before and have not received any email about it being back or any invite code. :/

You should of received your invite code immediately. Sometimes mail providers have labelled our emails as spam; check your spam folder from an e-mail from us. Otherwise, e-mail audiomatch@gmail.com with your paypal email.
